Washing Your Hair Extensions:

  • Rinse with cold to lukewarm water. (Water should be at room temperature or slightly warmer.)
  • Apply a minimal drop of high-quality mild shampoo to the wet hair (avoid the scalp area - only applies to lace products). Do NOT rub the hair or scalp as you would with your own.
  • Comb the shampoo through the hair from top to bottom using gentle downward strokes one section at a time. Do not scrub the hair.
  • (Only applies to lace products.) Gently apply some of the soapy water to the inside of the cap. Do not scrub the cap.
  • Rinse again with cool to lukewarm water from top to bottom and the inside of the cap to remove excess shampoo - only applies to lace products.
  • Gently blot hair with a towel.
  • Apply conditioner to the damp hair. Avoid the scalp area as the conditioner can loosen the knots - only applies to lace products.
  • Rinse some of the conditioner with cold to lukewarm water.

Conditioning / Deep Condition Your Hair Extensions:

  • While the hair is still wet, spread a small amount of conditioner into the palm of your hands and work evenly into the hair.
  • Avoid the application of conditioner to the base of the lace as it can loosen the knots on the cap - only applies to lace products.
  • Leave the conditioner in the hair for 3-5 minutes. While the hair is wet and saturated with your hair conditioner, gently detangle the hair, starting at the tips of the hair and working your way up.
  • Your fingertips are the most gentle, but a wide-toothed wig comb can also be gently used.
  • Thoroughly rinse the conditioner from the hair under cold running water.
  • Gently squeeze excess water from the hair (do not rub or wring) and lightly blot hair with a towel (do not twist or wring).

Drying Your Hair Extensions:

  • Gently blot hair with a towel.
  • Allow the hair to air dry naturally or combine a blow dry and your favorite heat protectant.
  • To restyle your hair, you may use a blow dryer, curling iron, or flat iron on any heat setting with your favorite heat protectant.

  • For the best results, refrain from using products that contain heavy oils, alcohol, and sulfate.
